DescriptionInfant's shirt of white cotton, with a wide, square neckline with rounded flaps that fold down over the belly band. The shoulder seam is flat-felled, with drawn thread work on each side of the seam. The side seams are open at the bottom for 2 1/8 inches to create a vent. The sleeves are two inches long and are gathered into the shoulder. Gussets under the sleeve provide extra ease. The hem of the sleeve is headed by a row of drawn threadwork; it is trimmed with narrow bobbin lace.
