BiographyMary Christy Fisher is a Connecticut attorney and senior counsel at the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. She holds a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and also has an M.S. and B.A. from Central Connecticut State University. She is a licensed Master Social Worker in Connecticut.
Fisher is a clinical instructor of law at Yale Law School and teaches the Veterans Benefits and Advocacy Clinic at the University of Connecticut School of Law. Before her time at the CVLC, she worked with the New Haven Legal Assistance Association and served as a Program Officer with the Legal Services Corporation in Washington, D.C. In 2022, she was recognized with the Connecticut Bar Association's Charles J. Parker Legal Services Award for her dedication to providing legal services to the disadvantaged in the state. Mary Christy Fisher retired in February 2025.
