BiographyRodney S. Eielson was born on 13 November 1924 in North Haven, Connecticut. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. He graduated from University of Bridgeport and University of Connecticut School of Law. He practiced law in Fairfield County, Connecticut. He served in the Connecticut House of Representatives in 1954 and 1956. He was the unsuccessful candidate for State Comptroller in 1958, losing to Raymond S. Thatcher. He was then appointed to the Connecticut Circuit Court and later to the Superior Court. He died on 28 August 2015 in Boynton Beach, Florida.
