BiographyClarence F. Baldwin (1900-1980) was born in Woodbridge, Connecticut. In 1928, he became first selectman of Woodbridge, He served 14 years on the Woodbridge Board of Finance and 25 years on the Planning and Zoning Commission. In 1935, he was elected Republican Town Committee chairman. He was a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives in 1933, 1935, and 1939. He served as GOP state auditor from 1959-1967.
