James L. McConaughy

BiographyJames L. McConaughy (October 21, 1887 - March 7, 1948) was born in New York. He attended Yale University, Bowdoin, Columbia University, and Dartmouth University. He served as Lt. Governor of Connecticut from 1939-1941. He served as Governor of Connecticut from 1947-1948. McConaughy died suddenly while serving as Governor.
