DescriptionMan's vest of cream-colored silk brocade, woven with a diamond pattern on a ribbed background. The vest has a deep, narrow shawl collar forming a U-shaped neckline. The center front opening fastens with four studs of mother of pearl set in a silver-tone metal bezel. Each side of the vest front is pointed, so that the waistline is W-shaped at the center. On each side, there is a breast pocket and a 4 3/4-inch-wide lower pocket. The side seams are vented for 1 1/8 inches. The back fabric is cream-colored satin,as is the lining fabric. The fit of the vest is adjusted by a buckled strap across the lower back.
