DescriptionMan's vest of black velvet with a woven stripe and brown/cream dot. The vest is for a very large man. It is double-breasted and has a shawl collar. The eight buttons (two are missing) are ball-shaped black glass with a sparkly, copper-colored swirl, with a brass shank. The vest has a breast pocket on the proper left side and a 6 1/2-inch-wide pocket on each lower front. Amazingly, the vest upper front is padded with wadding. The vest backing is dark brown, twill-woven, glazed cotton. The fit of the vest is adjusted with a self-fabric buckled strap across the lower back. The vest lining is white twill-woven cotton.
