DescriptionPlain, medium-weight linen shift. The body is cut in one piece from front to back (there is a fold line at the shoulder); it is gored at the sides. The neckline is scooped about 7 1/4 inches deep, with an additional six-inch slit at center front. The edges are finished with a narrow hem. The sleeves are short (nine inches) and tight. Ease is provided by underarm gussets.
