DescriptionSmall, round, redware cup. The interior of the cup is coated with a lead glaze, and much of the exterior is as well, with the exception of the lower inch and bottom of the foot, which are unglazed. The brown-tinted glaze has small white flecks and some subtle dark dots, as well as a few small dark areas where manganese black has been applied. The cup has a small, flat base, curved sides, and a flared rim. To one side, an extruded handle connects the rim to the lower half of the cup. A glazed indentation in the redware is located opposite the handle. There is crazing over all the glazed surfaces of the cup, and about ten small chips in the rim.
