DescriptionRedware cup with a brown lead glaze. The cup has a flat, round foot and sides that swell, narrow, then flare to form a plain rim. To one side, the rim is folded forward to form a small spout. A pulled strap handle has been applied to the cup, at a right angle to the spout, connecting the neck and lower side of the cup. The lead glaze covers all but the bottom of the foot of the cup, which is left unglazed. There is crazing on all the glazed surfaces of the cup, and a small chip in the rim.
