DescriptionCylindrical, small-mouthed redware jar with a translucent dark brown or dark red glaze and a slightly flared, rolled im. The glaze covers all interior and exterior surfaces, with the exception of the bottom inch and foot of the outside of the jar, which is unglazed. The glaze has very slight mottling, only visible very close to the jar. The glaze is not applied evenly, as the bottom third of the glazed portion of the jar is not applied as thickly as the top two thirds.
There are light scratches and crazing over all the exterior glazed surfaces of the jar. The glaze has chipped off almost all the way around the rim.
