DescriptionSmall-mouthed redware preserve jar that has a cylindrical body, narrow neck, and a flared rim that supported a fitted lid (now missing). The interior of the jar is coated with a clear lead glaze, and much of the exterior is as well, with the exception of the bottom inch of the jar, which is unglazed. Several irregular patches of manganese black have been applied to the outside of the jar. There is one large chip in the rim and crazing on the thickest portions of the glaze.
