DescriptionWoman's petticoat of white cotton. The petticoat is closely gathered all around the 1 1/2-inch-wide waistband. The lower 8 1/4 inches of the petticoat are decorated with nine narrow tucks over a self-fabric ruffle which has been gathered on a cord and applied on top of the petticoat hem, creating a double layer. The center back opening extends 12 1/2 inches and fastens with a single mother of pearl button on the waistband.
