DescriptionWoman's petticoat of white cotton. It is gathered into the 1 1/2-inch-wide waistband, with the back more closely gathered than the front. The lower 16 1/2 inches of the petticoat is decorated with eleven 1/2-inch-wide tucks above the 2 5/8-inch-deep hem. The bottom of the petticoat is edged with a single row of tatted loops. The center back opening extends 11 1/2 inches and fastens with a single mother of pearl button on the waistband.
