The petticoat (.b) is knife-pleated into the cotton waistband, which has eight buttonholes for fastening to mother of pearl buttons all around the bottom of the camisole. The center back opening extends 9 1/4 inches and is edged with the feather stitching. The petticoat fastens with a single button on the waistband.
