DescriptionWoman's petticoat of heathered gray wool flannel. The bottom is edged with a 1 1/2-inch-wide trimming of knitted lace in gray wool. The stitching of the hem is covered with a line of gray silk featherstitching. The petticoat is lightly pleated across the front and over the hips; it is gathered across the back. The waistband, of plain white cotton, is 1 1/8 inches wide and fastens at center back with a single bone button. The seams are stitched by machine, with the allowances spread open and stitched down with whip stitches.
