DescriptionSmall girl's coat of white ribbed cotton, with whitework eyelet embroidery. The coat is constructed with princess seams. The front panels are overlaid with eyelet fabric on each side of the center front opening, which fastens with ten mother of pearl buttons. The wide, square collar is made of the eyelet fabric and is edged with a scalloped whitework ruffle. There is a patch pocket on each side, made of the eyelet and edged with scalloped whitework. The two-piece sleeves have turned-back cuffs of eyelet, edged with scalloped whitework. The bottom edge of the coat is cut away diagonally at the center front opening. It is edged with piping. The coat is vented at the side and center back seams.
