DescriptionChild's calico pinafore made of fabric printed with white multi-sized circles on a brown background. The pinafore has a wide neckline, which is piped with a red and white calico of a small, vein-like print. The sleeves consist of two-inch-wide ruffles of the brown calico, with the edges bound with the contrasting red and white calico. The armscye and waistline are piped. The short skirt consists of a double tier of the brown calico bound along the edges with the red and white calico. The edges are rounded at the center back opening; at the center front, the top layer is split and rounded up to the waistline. A box pleat extends for the length of the bodice at center front. The center back opening fastens with four "calico" porcelain buttons (three different designs in purple and white).
