DescriptionInfant's dress of white cotton woven with satin-weave stripes interlaced in a checked pattern. The dress has a center front panel extending from the high, round neckline to the hem. This panel is made of plain, white cotton and is stitched with narrow, horizontal tucks for its length. The neckline is trimmed with a ruffle of scalloped whitework embroidery under a binding. The two-piece sleeves are slightly curved. A scalloped whitework ruffle edges the sleeve opening. The bottom of the dress is edged with scalloped whitework headed by a straight strip of whitework.
