DescriptionInfant's long, white cotton dress, with a whitework-embroidered yoke and long sleeves. The neckline is high and round, with a whitework ruffle under the bound edge. The sleeves have four rows of tucks above the wrist opening, which also has a whitework ruffle. The skirt is gathered into the bottom of the yoke, which is scalloped. The bottom of the dress has fifteen rows of narrow tucks above the white eyelet embroidered ruffle. The center back opening is about 9 1/2 inches long, and fastens with four mother of pearl buttons. The buttons are hidden under a placket covered with a scalloped strip of whitework embroidery.
