DescriptionInfant's dress of white cotton, with a wide neckline defined by a band of eyelet embroidery, through which a ribbon would have laced and acted as a drawstring. The same treatment is used at the waistline, which is high. The bodice is embroidered eyelet in a diamond formation, alternating with inserts of ribbed-weave cotton. The skirt is flat in front and gathered across the back. The center back opening is eleven inches long. The bottom of the skirt is embroidered with a band of eyelet above a vandyke edge.
