DescriptionInfant's shirt of white cotton. The shirt is cut from an approximately square piece of cloth, folded in half to form the shoulderline. The neckline is cut out of the folded edge; it is square, with two rounded flaps that fold back over the shoulder. The neckline and shoulder flaps are edged with a narrow, self-fabric whipped ruffle. The shirt is back-opening. The short sleeves and flared body are created by cutting a notch shape out of the sides. The side seams are flat-felled. The sleeve openings are edged with a narrow, self-fabric, whipped ruffle.
