BiographyJulia Fitch was born in Windham in 1815, a daughter of Joseph Dingley and Betsey (Johnson) Fitch. She married Stephen Decatur Bromley. Their children were Charles Newton Bromley (born and died 1844), Luthera Maria Bromley (1846-1847), Jennie Susan Bromley (1850-1901), Edith Maria Bromley (1852-1935), Martha Bromley (born and died 1860), and Mary Bromley (born and died 1860). Julia died on June 26, 1868, in Willimantic.
