Betsey Johnson was born in 1784 in Windham. She married Joseph Dingley Fitch in 1807. Their children were Maria Fitch (1808-1872), Newton Fitch (1810-1877), George Fitch (1812-1833), Harriet Fitch (1815-1893), Julia Fitch (1816-1868), and Tryphena Fitch (1822-1898). Betsey died on June 13, 1864 in Windham.
