BiographyTryphena Fitch was born on July 8, 1822, a daughter of Joseph Dingley and Betsey (Johnson) Fitch. She does not seem to have married. After her sister Julia died, she lived with Julia's husband Stephen. Her occupation is listed in the 1870 and 1880 federal censuses as "housekeeper." She died on January 18, 1898 in Willimantic.
