DescriptionInfant's shirt of white cotton. It is constructed of a long rectangle of fabric, with the ends folded to the center back. The wide, slightly rounded neckline is cut out of the top edge; the armholes are cut out of the folds of the sides. Short sleeves are set into the armholes; the shoulder seam and top of the sleeve are inserted with a strip of bobbin lace. The edges of the sleeves are trimmed with bobbin lace.
