DescriptionPressed colorless glass paperweight consisting of a rectangular glass block with scalloped edges and rounded corners. The bottom surface of the paperweight is recessed. A black and white photograph is applied onto a piece of paper, which is secured into the recesed area with a piece of cardboard. The photograph shows a river with a town on the far shore, before hills and mountains. In the right foreground, a tall sailing ship is pulled alongside a dock. A smaller sailing boat is in the water. A title in white letters in the lower right corner of the photograph reads, "CONNECTICUT RIVER/ MIDDLETOWN, CONN." The bottom surface of the cardboard has slight tears.
