DescriptionPressed colorless glass paperweight with black and white transfer decoration. The paperweight consists of a rectangular glass block with curved edges and corners. The bottom surface of the paperweight is recessed. A design, applied using a black and white transfer printing process, is applied into this recessed area and is visible through the top of the paperweight. The design shows a photographic portrait of a young girl wearing a white hat and dress, sitting in a wood chair with upholstery. The girl holds flowers in her right hand. Below the portrait are the words, "PAT. SEP. 5 '82, BARNES & ABRAMS CO., SYRACUSE, N.Y."
