DescriptionOval redware flask with a dark brown lead glaze and two patches of manganese black decoration. The flask consists of a flat, oval base that rises to two flat sides and two swelled sides, a narrow neck, and a flared rim. The interior and exterior are glazed, with the exception of the bottom inch of the exterior, which is unglazed. The remnants of a cork are located inside the flask. There are two small chips in the rim and many light scratches in the glaze on the exterior of the flask.
