DescriptionCylindrical, small-mouthed stoneware preserve jar with a brown slip glaze, or Albany-type slip glaze, on the interior and exterior. The cylindrical sides of the jar narrow at the shoulder then form a plain rim. An incised line circles the shoulder of the jar. There are small bumps in the glaze, as the stoneware below is not even. A group of short scratches in the glaze is visible near the bottom of the jar.
