A pleat runs up the left side and has decorative white plastic buttons (one is missing) mounted on top of the pleat from the shoulder to below the hipline. The dress is fitted with princess seaming. The center back opening has a 24"-long metal zipper. The dress has self-fabric facings around the neckline and armholes; the rest of the dress is lined with brown poly-cotton.
