DescriptionWoman's sheath dress of dark blue velvet. The dress is sleeveless and has a round neckline which is trimmed with a double row of rhinestones. A diamond-shaped opening appears in the center front just below the neckline. The dress is fitted in front with diagonal bust darts. The skirt is slit up the center front for 18." The center back opening fastens with a 23" long plastic zipper. The bodice back is lined with dark purple acetate.

Woven label at proper right back inside on lining: "G. Fox & Co. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT" on opposite side is a stamped label: " COMMERCIALLY / DRY CLEAN / ONLY" and "Size 16."
