DescriptionWoman's cocktail dress of blue machine-made lace laid over purplish-blue rayon. The bodice has a scalloped V-shaped neckline at front and back. The short sleeves and shoulder area are not lined with the rayon. The lining is cut in a double curve over the bust area, and also across the bodice back. The waist is swathed with pleated blue crepe, four inches wide. The skirt is fitted and narrow; there is a 5 1/2 kick pleat at the center back. The center back opening fastens with a 16"-long metal zipper headed by a met hook & eye. There are two woven tape labels stitched next to the zipper: "a / Norman / ORIGINAL" and "G. FOX & CO. / HARTFORD CONNECTICUT."
