DescriptionMan's white cotton knit T-shirt from the New Haven 5K-20K Road Race, held on 4 September 2000. The T-shirt has a round neckline bound with fine machine-knit ribbing. The short sleeves and bottom edge have hems that are turned over once and machine-stitched. The logo on the front of the shirt is of multiple runners dressed in clothing representative of various occupations and life stages, including a businessman, a fireman with a cat, a musician holding a cello over her head, a construction worker, a ballerina, a baseball player, a pizza delivery man, a student, a meter maid, an actress in Elizabethan costume, a surgeon, a judge, a mother pushing a stroller, a boy with a soccer ball, an elderly man with a dog on a leash, etc. There is also a dinosaur skeleton running. These runners appear on a yellow road with a double white stripe down the middle; on either side of the road is a silhouette or outline of an audience. Appearing above the logo is: "23rd Annual / New Haven / Road Race." Below the logo is: "Sept. 4TH, 2000 / 5K labor Day 20K."
