Above this image appear the words: "Frontiers in History: / People, Places, Ideas / Connecticut History Day 2001." The typeface resembles that created on an old-fashioned typewriter.
On the back of the t-shirt is printed the credit for the original image on the front: "Woodcut/silkscreen by / Robert Cottingham, Newtown, CT / Collection of The Connecticut Historical Society."
