DescriptionWhite cotton knit t-shirt, short-sleeved, printed on the front with an image of a manual typewriter on a blue background. Above this image appear the words: "Frontiers in History: / People, Places, Ideas / Connecticut History Day 2001." The typeface resembles that created on an old-fashioned typewriter.

On the back of the t-shirt is printed the credit for the original image on the front: "Woodcut/silkscreen by / Robert Cottingham, Newtown, CT / Collection of The Connecticut Historical Society." Below this is printed: "Frontier in History: / George C. Blickenderfer of Stamford, CT / invented the first portable typewriter / on April 12, 1892." Below this appear the logos of the History Day sponsors, the Connecticut Historical Society and The Hartford (an insurance company).
