DescriptionChild's dress of white cotton, printed in red and brown with a design of ovals. The princess-line dress has a high, round neckline, which is piped. The coat sleeves are set smoothly into the piped armscyes. The shoulderline is dropped. The bottom of the flared skirt is bordered with white cotton braid. The center back opening extends the length of the dress and fastens with twelve mother of pearl buttons. Piecing of the dress fabric indicates that it is reused from another garment. The dress is unlined. The wrist openings of the sleeves are bordered with the white braid, like the hem.
