DescriptionGirl's dress of white cotton, with a very wide neckline controlled by a drawstring. The bodice is stitched across the front and back with vertical tucks. The short sleeves are made from a band of whitework embroidery; they are edged with shallow scallops made with buttonhole stitches. The waistband is whitework embroidered with a floral vine; it is edged with piping. The plain skirt is very full. The center back opening is 10 1/4 inches long and fastens with five small, thread-covered buttons.
