DescriptionInfant's dress of fine white cotton, with a square neckline and short, puffed sleeves. The neckline and high waistline are controlled by double drawstings. The sleeve edges are embellished with a band of whitework embroidery. The hem is embellished with an insertion of whitework flanked by rows of narrow tucks. The dress is open down the length of the back and fastens with the drawstrings at the neck and waist. The armhole seams are reinforced with a narrow, flat linen braid.
