DescriptionGirl's slip of fine white cotton, with a wide, round neckline and armholes finished without embellishment. The bodice falls straight to the waistline, which is decorated with a 3/8-inch-wide, woven decorative braid, also white. The skirt is closely gathered into the waistline. It is decorated mid-way down its length with three narrow tucks and a strip of machine-made bobbin lace insertion. The bottom of the skirt is decorated with five narrow tucks above a band of insertion over an edging of matching lace. The center back opening extends 18 1/2 inches and fastens with four mother of pearl buttons on the bodice and a metal hook and eye at the waistline.
