DescriptionChild's sleeved pinafore of blue and white cotton gingham. The pinafore has a wide neckline, finished with a piped edge. The long sleeves are gathered into the piped armscye and into a self-fabric band at the wrist. The opening is edged with a whipped self-fabric ruffle. The front of the bodice has a box pleat stitched down the center for 4 3/4 inches, with the fullness then released. There are two pockets on the pinafore front; they are pointed at the bottom and their opening along the top is edged with a self-fabric ruffle. The bottom of the pinafore is edged with a 1 3/8-inch self-fabric ruffle. The pinafore is open for the length of the center back and fastens with four (one is missing) small mother of pearl buttons.
