The center front placket opening fastens with three mother of pearl buttons. The body extends to the shoulders and then down to about mid-rib cage. The sides are open. The bottom is stitched with a casing through which a drawstring is inserted; it ties on the proper right side. The shoulderline is inserted with gussets to accomodate the collar. The front is more closely gathered into the neckline than the back.
