DescriptionWoman's white cotton drawers, with a waistband which dips in front. The drawers were originally split, but the front of the crotch has been stitched closed, probably by the original owner. The drawers close at center back with a drawstring which is inserted through a casing along the top of the waistband. The legs have scalloped machine-made lace flounces, about five-inches wide. The back of the crotch fastens with a single mother of pearl button, about midway down the length of the opening.
