DescriptionMan's white, light-weight, cotton canvas vest. The vest is collarless. The center front opening fastens with six studs (no longer with the vest). There is a breast pocket on the proper left side and a five-inch-wide pocket on each lower side. The front waistline of the vest is dipped. The backing and lining of the vest is plain, white cotton. The center back seam at the lower edge is cut in a rounded notch. A self-fabric strap originally buckled (buckle now missing) across the back of the waist to adjust the fit. One strap retains its button for fastening the buckle.
