DescriptionInfant's cream-colored wool flannel petticoat, gathered into a 5 5/8-inch-wide linen waistband. The bottom of the petticoat is scalloped and finished with a buttonhole stitch. Above this, silk chain-stitch is worked in a 2 1/2-inch-wide band simulating soutache braid. The center back of the petticoat is open for 13 3/4 inches. The blue marking for the embroidery is visible.
