DescriptionWoman's white cotton chemise, with eyelet embroidered band around wide neckline. This eyelet is edged with bobbin lace, which is laced with pale pink silk ribbon to act as a drawstring. The armholes and hem are also edged with this bobbin lace. The center front opening of the chemise is 21 inches long and fastens with four mother of pearl buttons, as well as the pink ribbon drawstring at the neck and another at the waistline. The skirt is set smoothly into the waistline and flares towards the bottom. The chemise is about knee-length.
