DescriptionA long row of large spreading elm trees occupies the center of the street. Additional elms appear in front of the houses on either side of the street. A small building with a square tower at the right appears to be a church. A notes states "East Hartford Academy / also a high school / a short distance south." This broad street led across the covered bridge to Hartford
