DescriptionView of the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead on Palisado Avenue (Rt. 159) in Windsor. The house is a large two-story house, with a projecting front porch and a recessed porch supported by two tall columns at the side. In front is a "picket fence." "Pear trees" are on either side; the tall trees on the left are "elms set out by [Oliver Ellsworth]." Other notes read: "cedar oldest know tree" and "narrow escape very near spot."
