DescriptionIn the foreground a stone wall toped with a picket fence and shaded by a row of "elm" trees lines a "road." In the middle distance a field of "corn" is enclosed with a "Virginia" fence and a small waterway crosses the field on the right. The Congregational and Episcopal Churches in the center surrounded by a cluster of houses. Barber notes an "orchard" and a grove of "oak" trees.
