DescriptionView of Westbrook. A large church occupies the center of the composition, surrounded by houses and outbuildings. A tavern with a hanging sign at right. To the left a sailing vessel is afloat in a body of water, probably the Pochaug River. Notes by Barber identify a "Button wood" tree at the left and a "stone wall" in the foreground.
