NotesSubject Note: The man in this photograph is presumably David F. Armstrong. The girl is his daughter Muriel. The distinctive wicker chair appears in other photographs of the interior of the Armstrong family home in Groton, Connecticut. The object at the far right is the corner of the cabinet of a large record player. Armstrong and his daughter may be looking at a song book. David F. Armstrong was born in 1883 and died in 1960.
